ELIGIBILITY
This exhibition screening of contemporary art is open to all artists residing in the United States. No accept the previous over 2 times selected artists.

EXHIBITION
Selected artists will exhibit their artwork in a group show in May, 2018.

RULES OF ENTRY

• Visit our web site to submit your information (www.kccla.org) and obtain a confirmation number. Then you send us your slides or digital images with confirmation number by mail.
• Artists must carefully follow instructions to assemble slides, or digital images and written materials.
  
  • Artists' work completed in the past two years will be submitted.(except selected works)- A minimum of 5 and no more than 10 images should be submitted.
  • Each work has a title, size, and medium. (MS word for PC)
  • Artists' statement in MS Word for PC
• If you are submitted by Slides :
  • All slides should be 35 mm (suitable for carousel projection)
  • Should be placed in a 9"x11" clear plastic sheet for safe handling.
  • Please indicate on each slide: The artist's name, title, year, medium, dimensions, and top of work with arrow.
• If you are submitted by Digital images
  • Must be JPEG format (at least 150 dpi) for PC
  • Please indicate on each image: title, size and medium. (MS word for PC)
• Media: Work may be two or three-dimensional. All media is welcomed.
• Fees: None
• Size Restrictions: Our art gallery space is 2,500 square feet, and the ceiling is nine feet high.

INSTRUCTIONS
Assemble the following:

• 5-10 Slides or images (JPEG CD for PC)
• Resume with Confirmation Number, Address, and Phone Number
• Artist's Statement
• Self-addressed Stamped Envelop

AWARDS

• Award of Best of Show : $3,000
• Award of Distinction : $2,000
• Award of selected artists : $500 (7-8 selected artists)
• *** Please note that applications not accompanied by slides or images will be considered incomplete and ineligible for selection.

CALENDAR

• Submission must be received by October 31, 2017
  
• Notification of acceptance/non-acceptance: Jan.-Feb, 2018
  
• Exhibition (in group): May 2018

RETURNING SLIDES
KCCLA do not return Non-accepted images but only slides will be returned ONLY IF A SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOP IS INCLUDED AND CURRENT ADDRESS INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE. The Korean Cultural Center will not be responsible for lost or misplaced of slides in the mail. Accepted slides will be retained for the permanent slide file of the Korean Cultural Center.

INSURANCE
The Korean Cultural Center has an insurance coverage for artwork during the period of art exhibition only, not during transit.

SHIPPING
Artists cover the shipping fee and are responsible for shipping arrangements related to the show in which they participate.
