Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the customs brokerage department including the team of entry writers, ensuring that operational goals and KPIs are met. - Manage the entire import clearance workflow: from customs entries and ISF filings to broker relationships, audits, billing, and client communications. - Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. customs regulations, partner government agencies, trade policies, and company SOPs. - Review and improve department processes: work distribution, quality control, performance measurement and continuous improvement. - Train, coach, and evaluate team members, manage staffing, workflow capacity, and performance metrics. - Act as escalation point for complex or high-risk shipments, broker disputes, compliance issues, and audit findings. - Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support new account onboarding, client growth, and service delivery. - Maintain and enhance customs clearance systems, reporting tools, data analytics, and entry tracking. - Provide regular management reports on department performance, cost control, and compliance status.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in customs brokerage or international trade operations, including at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory capacity. - Strong expertise in U.S. customs laws and regulations (19 CFR, HTS classifications, PGAs, duty/valuation, etc.). - Demonstrated leadership and team-management skills, ability to build and develop high-performing teams. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making skills. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint - Experience with customs/brokerage systems preferred. - Bilingual in Korean and English is required.
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per Salary, depending on experience.
Responsibilities: - Process customs clearances for imports, adhering to all relevant customs regulations and company standard operating procedures. - Conduct Importer Security Filing. - Track and trace shipments to ensure information is up-to-date. - Communicate directly with clients, freight forwarders, and other related parties through email and phone. - Manage documentation and archive records and documents efficiently. - Oversee data management for client reports. - Ensure timely billing and invoicing for clients. - Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. - Must be able to commute to the office; hybrid work options may be available. - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. - Willingness to work weekends or night shifts is a plus. - Bilingual ability in English and Korean is required.
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per Salary, depending on experience.
Responsibilities: - Handle inbound orders and shipments from customers and agents. - Perform data entry, process documentation, and manage shipment records accurately and efficiently. - Monitor, track, and update shipment statuses as part of daily operational procedures. - Provide timely and accurate customer support, including real-time tracking updates. - Ensure customer satisfaction by understanding operational procedures and fulfilling customer requirements. - Review and report on profit and loss performance; manage accounts payable and receivable. - Administer weekly and monthly freight payment reports, including accruals. - Identify and report issues, provide consultation, and work toward effective resolutions. - Monitor all cargo movements and provide regular reports to the direct manager.
Qualifications: - Strong team player who also performs well independently. - Positive, friendly attitude and a respectful, self-motivated disposition with a willingness to learn. - Effective communication skills. - Proficient in using computers for tracking inventory, maintaining storage records, and creating labels; experienced with MS Excel and MS Outlook. - Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related fields is plus. - Bilingual proficiency in Korean is required.
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per Salary, depending on experience.
Responsibilities: - Perform daily task (daily report / shipment tracking / communicate with clients, etc.) - Gather information from clients to determine their shipping needs. - Obtain shipping quotes from carriers and passing them on to clients. - Book freight service through carriers for clients. - Coordinate the pick up and drop off shipments. - Monitor the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive promptly and undamaged. - Updating customer management software to keep client records accurate. - Advise clients on potential supply chain issues. - Additional projects as needed.
Qualifications: - Korean/English bilingual preferred. - 0-3 years’ equivalent experience. - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. - Highly organized with Ability to Multi-task. - A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm and confidentiality.
