Job Summary
We seek an experienced Site Engineer to manage Indiana's multi-billion-dollar EV battery plant projects. You will oversee cross-functional engineering teams, including Mechanical, Electronic, Project, and Quality engineering, ensuring the successful operation and optimization of the manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
On-site Project Management
Coordinate with and oversee vendors' manufacturing facilities to maintain consistent quality and timely delivery
Be the subject matter expert for Plant and Process Safety Management systems.
Develop and implement training to ensure education of all plant team members on applicable environmental issues and changes.
Identify capital projects associated with Environmental compliance and sustainability.
Lead the technical aspects of Process Safety Management (PSM) to include writing standard operating procedures, performing Process Hazard Analysis, safety reviews, training, and contractor management.
Manage the change management continual improvement process for all regulatory changes.
Coordinate with other departments to manage environmental aspects affecting those departments.
Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate project progress and findings effectively.
Korean and English interpretation services with partner companies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Driver’s license
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
Bilingual in English and Korean
Additional / Preferred Skills
1+ years of professional engineering experience, preferably in battery plant projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD
OSHA construction/general industry certifications
