Description
Position Summary: Development of new
products (with Color& Pattern) to achieve customers’ expectations and
identify strategies to modify or improve current products and processes.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
• Process evaluation & management for product development
• Devise and manage product development procedures
• Lead design, fabrication, & installation of new equipment for
product development purposes
• Lead Q-Gate process to ensure the quality of newly developed products
& shipment/supply of new products to outside vendors for marketing purposes
• Optimize manufacturing processes and troubleshoot production issues on
newly developed products to ensure product quality and process stabilization
• Manage and evaluate raw material performance on the products
• Perform chemical & mechanical laboratory scale testing and
pilot-scale testing in production line
• Create, store, analyze & manage the data from all tests which are
performed in both lab and production line.
• Communicate and exchange information with other departments to reach
customers’ expectations on the products
• Assist the production engineer to troubleshoot production issues and
analyze production conditions
Qualifications: Listed below are the
minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work
experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform
satisfactorily in the position:
Education and Work
Experience:
• Education: Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering, Materials Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or related
• 3+ experiences in surfaces development is preferred but not required
Knowledge and Skills:
• Fluent in Korean and English
• 3D Model design program : Solid-works, Eureka
• Computer Languages: Basic
• 2D program : Rhino Ceros, Photoshop, include basic Microsoft office
program
Physical Demands:
• Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.
• Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least
2/3 of time.
• Position requires minimal lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
• Position requires travel up to 10 % of time, including overnight travel
in the territory.
