A globally recognized and respected affordable luxury brand is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Coordinator. Location: Northridge, CA
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate the product creation process from development to production, ensuring a seamless transition.
Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, including Design, Technical Design, Development, and Receiving, to guarantee timely delivery as per the established calendar.
Actively partner with Product Development and Design teams to identify and resolve production issues, supporting these issues until they are fully resolved.
Assist the development team in managing the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure prompt delivery of samples for fittings and essential seasonal meetings.
Regularly update Work In Progress (WIP) and Time & Action (T&A) plans according to the production schedule.
Conduct quality control checks to maintain the brand's high standards.
Maintain daily communication with factories and follow up with vendors throughout production stages to adhere to deadlines.
Coordinate shipping schedules and collaborate with the shipping team to ensure timely product arrival.
Oversee the entire production process, from the initial sample to the final delivery.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the apparel industry.
Demonstrated expertise in apparel/garment costing and vendor negotiations.
Solid understanding and experience with Sourcing, Logistics, and Production terminology.
Exceptional leadership skills and a strong team player ethos.
Proficiency in both English and Korean languages.
A positive, can-do attitude with flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.
Excellent organizational skills are essential.
