“FINDING FAMILY: Korean adoptees share DNA reunion stories”
Founded in 2015 by five Korean adoptees, 325KAMRA is a global non-profit organization devoted to reuniting Korean adoptees with biological family through the use of DNA. To date, 325KAMRA has logged 400+ immediate family DNA matches and vows to continue connecting even more families well into the future.?
During this special presentation:
*Learn how DNA is used as a tool for birth family searches.?
*Hear compelling stories from adoptees that 325KAMRA helped reunite.
*Watch scenes of Emmy Award-winning documentarian Deann Borshay Liem’s work-in-progress project, “Relative Strangers,” which follows a group of mixed-race adopted Koreans - the adult children of U.S. servicemen and Korean women as they team up with search experts and DNA specialists in their decades-long quest to find their first families.
Open to the public, this program will include a Q&A session and conclude with a reception. Free DNA testing will be available on-site.?
