This performance is brought to you by Bibimbab Theatre and they have also performed this act in England at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival since 2010. With the awaited opportunity to feature their starring work at this year’s New York International Fringe Festival, Bibimbab Theatre has joined hands with Korean Traditional Music and Dance Institute in New York to present an authentic and diverse production of traditional music with modern dances. This year’s performance will include the previous modern elements of opera, tap dancing, drumming and contemporary dance along with traditional Korean instruments such as the Gayageum, Heagum, and Korean folk dance. Not only will viewers be entertained by the classic love story of a Goguryo Princess and lowly peasant, they will also be able to experience an inside perspective on love, social culture, and history of old and new, South Korea.
